Luke 7:4

And they came to Iesus and besought hym instauntlye saiynge: He is worthye that thou shouldest do this for hym.

Thou hast a fewe names in Sardys, whyche haue not defyled their garmentes: and they shal walke wyth me in whyte, for they are worthy.

And if the house be worthy, your peace shall come vpon it. But if it be not worthy, your peace shall retourne to you againe.

But they which shalbe made worthy to enioye that worlde and the resurreccyon from death, neyther marye wyues, neyther are maryed,

Into whatsoeuer citye or toune ye shall come enquire who is worthye in it, & there abyde tyl ye go thence

And when he heard of Iesu, he sent vnto hym the elders of the Iewes, besechinge hym that he woulde come & heale his seruaunte.

For he loueth oure nacion, and hath bylt vs a synagoge.

a deuout man, & one that feared God wt al his houshold whiche gaue much almes to the people, and prayed God alway.
