And Iesus aunswered and saide vnto them: Go your wayes and shewe Ihon what thinges ye haue seane and hearde: howe that the blynd se, the halt go, the lepers are clensed, the deafe heare, the dead aryse, to the poore is glad tydinges preached,

The spyryte of the Lorde vpon me, because he hath anointed me: to preache the gospell to the poore he hath sent me, and to heale the broken herted, to preache deliueraunce to the captiue, and syght to the blynde, and frely to set at lyberte them that are brused,

Harken my deare beloued brethren. Hath not God chosen the pore of thys world, which are ryche in faythe, and heyres of the kyngedome whiche he promysed to them that loue hym?

Beholde, I wyll brynge them agayne from oute of the north lande, and gather them from the endes of the worlde, wyth the blynde and lame that are amonge them, wyth the wemen that be greate wyth chylde, and suche as be also delyuered: and the companye of them that come agayne, shall be greate.

Brynge forth that people, whether they haue eyes or be blynde, deafe or haue eares.

I will brynge the blynde into a strete, that they knowe not: & lede them into a fote path, that they are ignoraunt in. I shall make darckenesse light before them, and the thinge that is croked to be streyght. These thinges wyll I do, & not forget them.

the Lord geueth sight to the blynde. The Lorde helpeth them vp that are fallen, the Lord loueth the righteous.

I was an eye vnto the blinde, and a fote to the lame,

For vncleane spyrites criynge with loude voyce, came out of manye that were possessed of them. And manye taken wyth palsyes, and manye that halted, were healed.

And Nathanael said to him: Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saide to him: come and se.

The blinde se, the halt go, the lepers are clensed: the deaf heare, the dead ryse againe, and the glade tydinges is preached to the poore.

and happye is he that is not offended by me.
