And he went and touched the coffin, and they that bare hym, stode styll. And he sayde: Yonge man, I say vnto the, aryse.

Verely verely, I saye vnto you: The tyme shall come, and nowe is, when the dead shall heare the voyce of the sonne of God. And they that heare shall lyue.

Iesus sayed vnto her: I am the resurreccion and the lyfe. He that beleueth on me, ye though he were dead, yet shall he lyue.

And he stretched him selfe vpon the lad thre tymes, and called vnto the Lorde and sayde: O Lorde my God, let the laddes soule come vnto hym agayne.

As it is written: I haue made the a father to manye nacyons, euen before God whome thou haste beleued, whiche quickeneth the deade, and called those thinges whiche be not, as thoughe they were.

For lykewyse as the father rayseth vp the dead, and quickeneth them: euen so the sonne quickeneth whom he wyll.

But as for thy dead men and oures, that be departed, they are in lyfe and resurreccion. They lye in the earthe, they wake, & haue ioy: for thy dewe is a dew of lyfe and light. But the place of the malycyous Tyrauntes is fallen awaye.

For loke what he sayeth, it is done: and loke what he commaundeth, it standeth fast.

Maye a deed man lyue agayne? All the dayes of thys my pilgremage am I lokynge, when my chaunginge shall come.

but when man slepeth, he ryseth not agayne, vntyll the heauen perish: he shall not wake vp ner ryse out of his slepe.

For it is shame euen to name those thinges, whiche are done of them in secrete:

And the Lorde hearde the voyce of Eliah, and the soule of the lad came into hym agayne, and he reuiued.

& toke the mayden by the hande, and sayd vnto her: Talitha cumi: which is by interpretacion: mayden I saye vnto the aryse.

And when the Lorde sawe her, he had compassyon on her and saide vnto her, wepe not.

And the dead sate vp, and began to speake. And he delyuered him to his mother.

And this rumore of hym wente forth throughout all Iurye, and thoroweout all the regions which lye rounde about.
