Why seist thou a moote in thy brothers eye, and consyderest not the beame that is in thyne owne eye?

And whyle they continued axynge hym, he lyfte hym selfe vp, and sayd vnto them: let hym that is amonge you without synne caste the fyrst stone at her.

For assone as he hath loked on hym selfe, he goeth hys waye, and forgetteth immediatly what hys fashyon was.

Therfore arte thou inexcusable (O man) whosoeuer thou be that iudgest. For in that same wherin thou iudgest another, thou condemnest thy selfe. For thou that iudgeste doest euen the same selfe thynges.

Amonge all thynges lyuinge, man hath the moste disceytfull and vnsercheable herte. Who shall then knowe it?

For in so muche as he remembreth hym selfe, & turneth him from all the vngodlynes, that he had vsed, he shall lyue, and not dye.

For he dissembleth before his face, so longe tyll hys abhominable sinne be founde out.

Ivdge not, that ye be not iudged.

The discyple is not aboue his maister. Euery man shalbe perfecte if he be as his mayster is.

Either howe canst thou saye to thy brother? Brother, let me pul out the moote that is thine eye: When thou perceyuest not the beame that is in thine owne eye? Ypocryte, cast out the beame that is in thine owne eye fyrst, and then shalt thou se perfectlye to pul out the mote out of thy brothers eye.
