And he putteth forth a symylytude vnto them: Can the blinde leade the blinde? Do they not both then fall into the dyche?

Let them alone, thei be the blynde leaders of the blynd. If the blynd leede the blynde, both shall fall into the dytche.

But the euyll man and disceyuers shal waxe worsse & worsse whyle they deceyue, and are deceyued them selues.

For hys watch men are al blind, they haue altogether no vnderstandyng, they are al domme dogges, not beyng able to barcke, they are slepery: slogish are they, & lye snortynge:

For al they whiche enfourme the people that they be in a righte case, suche be disceyuers. Suche as men thyncke also to be perfecte amonge these, are but cast awaye.

Ye serpentes and generacion of vppers howe shoulde ye scape the damnacion of hell?

Fye for shame, how abhominable thinges do they? and yet they be not ashamed, yea thei knowe of no shame. Wherfore in the tyme of theyr vysytacion they shall fall among the dead bodyes, sayeth the Lorde.

Therfore they must be ashamed, for they haue committed abhomynacyon. But howe shulde they be ashamed, when they knowe nothinge, neither of shame nor good nurtoure? And therfore they shall fall amonge the slayne, and in the houre when I shall vyset them, they shall be brought doune, sayeth the Lorde.

and beleuest that thou thy selfe arte a guyde vnto the blynde, a lyght to them which are in darknes,

And he spake many thinges to them in symilitudes, saying, beholde, the sower went forth to sowe.
