When they heard that they claue a sunder, & sought meanes to slea them.

Amonge all thynges that come to passe vnder the Sunne, this is a mysery, that it happeneth vnto all alyke. This is the cause also that the hertes of men are ful of wyckednes, and mad folishnes is in their hertes as longe as they liue, vntyl they dye.

And I punyshed them ofte, in euerye synagoge, and compelled them to blaspheme, and was yet more madde vpon them, and persecuted them euen vnto straunge cities.

When they heard these thinges, their hertes claue a sunder, and they gnashed on him with theyr tethe.

But Peter and Iohn aunswered to them and sayd: whether it be ryght in the syght of God to obey you more then God, iudge ye.

But they commaunded them to go a syde out of the counsell, and counceled amonge them selues

Then gathered the hye Priestes and Pharyses a counsel and sayd: What do we? This man doth many myracles:

After that Iesus went about into Galile, and would not go about in Iewry, for the Iewes sought to kyll him.

And as many as were in the synagoge when they hearde that, were fylled with wrath:

And when the chiefe priestes and pharyses hearde these similitudes, they perceyued that he spake of them.

And thei thoughte in theim selues sayinge: because we haue brought no breade wyth vs.

And he behelde them al in compasse, and sayde vnto the manye: Stretche forth thy hande. And he dyd so: & his hande was restored, and made as whole as the other.

And it furtuned in those dayes that he went out into a mountaine for to praye, and contynued all night in prayer to God.

but they shall preuayle no longer. For theyr madnes shalbe vttered vnto all men as theyrs was.
