When Iesus perceiued their thoughtes, he aunswered and sayd vnto them: What thinke ye in your hertes?

And he sayde vnto them: Why are ye troubled, and why do thoughtes aryse in your hertes?

Then said Peter. Ananias, how is it, that Sathan hath fylled thyne hert, that thou shouldest lye vnto the holy ghost, and kepe awaye part of the pryce of the lyuelod:

And when Iesus knew that, he sayd vnto them: why take ye thought because ye haue no bread perceyue ye not yet, neyther vnderstande? Haue ye your hertes yet blynded?

But Iesus knewe their thoughtes, and sayed to them. Euery Kingdome deuided within it selfe, shall be brought to naught. Neyther shall anye cytye or housholde deuided against it selfe continue.

And when Iesus sawe theyr thoughtes, he sayed: wherfor thinke ye euill in your hertes?

For I wyl come to gather all people and tonges wt their workes and ymaginacyons: these shall come, and se my glory.

Thou knowest my doune sittyng and myne vprysinge, thou vnderstandest my thoughtes a farre of.

And I will kyl her chyldren wyth death. And all the congregacions shal know, that I am he, whiche searched the reynes and hertes. And I will geue vnto euery one of you according vnto youre workes.

For the word of God is quicke and myghty in operacion, and sharper then anye two edged swerde, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding a sonder of the soule and the spirite, and of the ioyntes and the marie, and iudgeth the thoughtes and the ententes of the herte:

And thou Salomon my sonne: knowe God thy father, and serue hym with a pure hert, and lust of soule. For the Lorde searcheth all hertes, and vnderstandeth all the Imaginacyons of thoughtes. If thou shalte seke hym, he wylbe founde of the: But & yf thou forsake hym, he wyll caste the of for euer.

Moreouer, thus sayeth the Lorde God: At the same tyme shall manye thynges come in to thy mynde, so that thou shalt ymagyn myschefe,

The Lorde abhorreth the ymaginacons of the wycked, but pure wordes are pleasaunt vnto him.

When Iesus knewe that, he departed thence, and much people folowed hym, and he healed them all,

And the scribes and pharyseis began to thinke saiynge: What felowe is this which speaketh blasphemy? who can forgeue synnes but God onlye?

Whether is it easyer to say, thy synnes are forgeuen the, or to saye: ryse & walke?
