Here after will I not talke manye wordes vnto you. For the ruler of thys world cometh and hath noughte in me.

Now is the iudgement of thys world: now shall the prince of thys worlde be caste oute.

We knowe that we are of God, and that the world is altogether set on wyckednes.

And the great dragon, that olde serpente called the deuyll and Sathanas was caste out. Whiche deceyueth al the worlde. And he was cast into the earth, and his angelles were cast out also.

For all fleshe is as grasse, and all the glorye of man is as the floure grasse. The grasse wyddereth, and the floure falleth awaye,

And no maruail for Satan hym selfe is chaunged into the fashyon of an angell of lyghte.

Ye are of youre father the deuyl, and the lustes of your father ye wyll do. He was a murtherer from the begynnyng, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truthe in hym. When he speaketh a lye, then speaketh he of hys owne. For he is a lyar, and the father therof.

Euen the Lord of Hostes hath deuysed it, that he may put doune al pompe, & minish al the glory of the worlde.

Therfore gapeth hell, and openeth her mouth maruelous wyde: that pryde, boastyng & wysdome, with suche as reioyse therein, may descende into it.

& tolde them of the glory of hys ryches, & the multitude of hys chyldren all together how the king had promoted him so greatly, and howe that he was taken aboue the princes and seruauntes of the kynge.

If thou therfore wilt worship me, they shalbe al thine.
