And all bare him witnes, and wondred at the gracious wordes which proceded out of his mouthe, and saide: Is not this Iosephs sonne?

And they sayde: Is not this Iesus the sonne of Ioseph, whose father and mother we knowe? Howe is it then that he saieth: I came doune from heauen?

A worde speken in due season, is lyke apples of golde in a syluer dish.

The lyppes of the ryghtuous are occupied in acceptable thinges, but the mouth of the vngodly take them to the worst.

Good lucke haue thou with thyne honor, ryde on with the trueth, mekenesse & righteousnes: and thy righthand shall teach the wonderfull thynges.

And all that hearde him, meruaylled at his wit and aunswers.

The wordes of out a wyse mans mouth are gracious, but the lippes of a fole wil destroy hym self.

And when they sawe him, they were astonyed. And his mother sayde vnto him: sonne, why hast thou thus dealt with vs? Beholde thy father and I haue sought the, sorowing.

And he began to saye vnto them. This daye is this scripture fulfylled in youre eares.

And Phylyp founde Nathanaell, and sayde vnto hym. We haue founde hym of whom Moyses in the lawe, and the prophetes did write: Iesus the sonne of Ioseph of Nazareth.
