which sayde: The Lorde is rysen in dede, and hath appeared to Simon.

and that he was sene of Cephas, then of the twelue.

But go your waye, and tell hys discyples and namelye Peter: He wil go before you into Galile, there shal ye se him as he sayde vnto you.

And when the Lorde sawe her, he had compassyon on her and saide vnto her, wepe not.

And Ihon called vnto him two of his discyples, and sente them to Iesus saiynge: Arte thou he that shall come? or shall we loke for another?

he is not here, but is rysen. Remember howe he spake vnto you, when he was yet with you in Galile,

to whom also he shewed him selfe aliue after his passion by many tokens, apperynge vnto them fourty dayes, & speakinge of the kyngdome of God,
