But their eyes were holden that they coulde not knowe him.
But when the mornyng was nowe come, Iesus stode on the shore: neuerthelesse the dyscyples knewe not that it was Iesus.
When she had thus sayde, she tourned her self backe, and sawe Iesus standynge, and knewe not, that it was Iesus.
And their eyes were opened and they knewe him: and he vanyshed out of their sight.
After that he appered to two of them in a straunge fygure, as they walked and went into the countre.
And it chaunsed as they communed together and reasoned, that Iesus him selfe drue neare, and went with them.
And he sayed vnto them: What maner of communicacions are these that ye haue one to another as ye walke, and are sadde.
Ioseph knewe his brethren, but they knewe not hym.
