And they were the more fearce saiynge. He moueth the people, teachinge thorowout all Iewrye, and began at Galyle, euen to this place.

This beginning of miracles did Iesus in Cana of Galile, and shewed his glory, & hys disciples beleued on him.

The daye folowinge Iesus woulde go into Galyle, and founde Philip, and saide vnto him: folow me.

After Iohn was taken, Iesus came into Galyle, preachynge the gospell of the kyngedom of God,

And Iesus went about al Galile, teaching in their sinagoges, & preaching the gospel of the kingdome, & healed al maner of sickenes, & all maner of diseases among the people.

And when there arose great debate, the captayne fearynge lest Paule shoulde haue bene plucked a sundre of them, commaunded the souldyers to go doune, and to take hym from among them, and to bryng hym into the castle.

Whiche preaching was published thorow out all Iewry, and beganne in Galile, after the baptisme, whiche Iohn preached,

Then they gaue a shut wyth a loude voice, and stopped their eares, and ranne vpon hym al at once,

When they heard these thinges, their hertes claue a sunder, and they gnashed on him with theyr tethe.

When they heard that they claue a sunder, & sought meanes to slea them.

They cryed, awaye wyth hym, awaye with hym, crucifye hym. Pylate sayd to them: Shall I crucifye your kynge? The hye Priestes aunswered: we haue no king but Cesar.

They aunswered and sayed vnto hym: art thou also of Galile? Searche and loke, for oute of Galile aryseth no Prophete.

other sayeth: this is Christe, some saide: shal Christ come out of Galile?

And they cryed with loude voice, & required that he might be crucyfyed. And the voice of them and of the hie priestes preuailed.

When he thus spake vnto them, the lawyers, and the Pharyses began to wexe busye aboute hym, and to stop hys mouthe with manye questyons,

When Pilate sawe that he preuayled nothyng but the more busynes was made, he toke water and washed his handes before the people sayinge I am innocent of the bloude of this iust persone, or on your perille be it.

They that hate me without a cause, are mo then the heeres of my head: they that are myne enemyes & wolde destroye me giltlesse are mighty: I am fayne to paye the thinges that I neuer toke.

I lye wyth my soule among the cruel lions euen among the chyldren of men, whose teeth are speares and arrowes, and their tonge a sherpe sweard.

For dogges are come about me, the counsail of the wicked hath layed seage against me. They pearsed my handes and my fete,

When Iesus was born at Bethleem in Iurye, in the time of Herode the kinge: Beholde there came wise men from the east to Ierusalem

And it came to passe when Iesus had made an ende of commaundinge his .xij. disciples, he departed thence to teache and to preache in their cityes.

When Pilate hearde mencion of Galyle, he axed whether the man were of Galyle.
