And ther shalbe signes in the sunne, and in the mone, and in the starres: & in the earth, the people shalbe in such perplexitye, that they shall not tel which waye to turne them selues. The sea and the waters shall roore,

For the sterres and planetes of heauen shal not geue their lyght, the sunne shalbe quenched in the risinge, and the mone shall not shyne with his light.

The tyme wil come also, that the greate Prince Michael, which standeth on thy people syde, shal aryse vp, for there shall come a tyme of trouble, such as neuer was, sens there beganne to be any people, vnto that same time. Then shal thy people be deliuered, yea, al those that be found written in the boke.

The Mone and the Sunne shalbe ashamed, when the Lorde of Bostes shall rule them at Ierusalem vpon the mount Sion, before and wyth his excellent councel.

And I sawe a great whyte seate and hym that sate on it, from whose face fled away bothe the earthe & heauen, & theyr place was no more founde.

And I wyll shewe wounders in heauen aboue, and tokens in the earth beneth, bloude & fyre, and the vapoure of smoke.

I am the Lorde thy God, that make the sea to be styl, & to rage: whose name is the Lorde of Hostes.

And then shall they se the sonne of man comyng in the cloudes with great power and glorye.

Moreouer in those dayes, after that trybulacyon, the sonne shall waxe darke, and the moone shal not geue her light,

Immediatly after the trybulations of those dayes, shall the sonne be darkened: and the mone shall not gyue hyr lyght, and the starre shal fall from heauen, & the powers of heauen shal moue.

Though the waters of the sea raged and were neuer so troublous, and thoughe the mountaynes shoke at the tempest of the same. Selah.

And when the syxte houre was come, darcknes arose ouer all the earth vntyll the ninthe houre.

I haue loked vpon the earth, and se it is waste, and voyde. I loked toward heauen, and it had no shyne.

In that day they shalbe so fearce vpon them, as the sea. And yf we loke vnto the lande, beholde, it shalbe all darckenesse and sorowe. If we loke to heauen: beholde, it shalbe darcke wyth careful desperacyon.

From the syxte houre was there darcknes ouer all the lande vnto the ninthe houre.

The best of them is but as a thistle, & the most rightuous of them is but as a breer in the hedge. But when the day of thy preachers commeth, that thou shalt be vysyted: then shall they be wasted awaye.

Wo be to the multitude of muche people, that rush in lyke the sea, and to the heape of folke, that runne ouer al lyke greate waters.

And they shall fall on the edge of the swearde, and shalbe lead captyue into all nacyons. And Ierusalem shalbe troden vnder fote of the gentyls vntyll the tyme of the gentyls be fulfylled.

and mens hertes shall fayle them for feare, & for lokinge after those thinges whiche shall come on the earth. For the powers of heauen shal moue.
