And she had bene a weddowe aboute .iiij. score and .iiij. yeares, which went neuer out of the temple, but serued God with fastinge and prayer night & daye.
And when they had ordeyned them elders by election in euery congregacion, and after they had prayed and fasted, they commended them to God on whom they beleued.
One thynge haue I desyred of the Lorde, which I wyll requyre: namelye, that I maye dwel in the house of the Lorde all the dayes of my lyfe, to beholde the fayre beutye of the Lorde, and to viset his temple.

Hym that ouercommeth, wyl I make a pyller in the temple of my God, and he shal go no more out. And I wyl wryte vpon him, the name of my God, and the name of the cytye of my God, newe Ierusalem, which commeth doune out of heauen from my God, & I wyl wryte vpon him my newe name.
For one daye in thy courte is better then a thousande. I had rather be a dore keper in the house of my God, then to dwell in the tentes of the vngodly.
