And he called hym, and sayde vnto hym: Howe is it, that I heare thys of the? Geue a comptes of thy stewardshyppe. For thou mayest be no longer stewarde.

And I sawe the deade, both great and small stande before God: & the bokes were opened, & an other boke was opened, which is the boke of lyfe, and the dead were iudged of those thynges: which were wrytten in the bokes accordyng to theyr deedes:

As euerye man hath receyued the gifte, minister the same one to another as good mynisters of the manifolde grace of God.

whiche shall geue a comptes to hym that is redy to iudge quicke & dead.

Some mennes sinnes are open before hand and go before vnto iudgemente: some mennes synnes folowe after.

For God shal iudge all workes and secrete thynges, whether they be good or euell.

Despyse not the gyfte that is in the, whiche was geuen the thorow Prophesye, and wyth layinge on of the handes of an elder.

For we muste all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ, that euery man maye receyue the workes of hys bodye accordyng to that he hath done, whether it be good or badde?

Therfore iudge nothinge before the tyme vntill the Lorde come, who wyll lyghten thinges, that are hyd in darckenes, and open the counsels of the hertes. And then shall euery man haue praise of God.

Furthermore it is requyred of the dysposers, that they be found faithfull.

It is shewed vnto me (my brethren) of you, by them that are of the housse of Cloe, that there is stryfe amonge you. And thys is it that I meane,

So shall euery one of vs, geue accomptes of hym selfe to GOD.

And the Lorde sayd: Yf there be any faithful seruaunte and wyse, whom hys Lorde shall make ruler ouer hys housholde, to geue them theyr dutye of meate at due season:

But God sayed vnto hym: Thou fole, thys nyghte wyll they fetche awaye thy soule agayne from the. Then whose shall these thinges be which thou haste prouyded?

But I say vnto you, that of euery idell worde that men shall haue spoken: they shall geue a countes at the daye of iudgement.

When euen was come, the Lorde of the vineyarde sayde vnto hys Stewarde: call the labourers, and geue them their hyer, beginning at the laste, tyll thou come to the first.

And he sayed also vnto his disciples. There was a certayne ryche man which had a steward that was accused vnto him: that he wasted hys goodes.

The stewarde sayde within hym selfe, what shall I do? for my mayster wyll take away from me the stewardshyppe. I can not dygge, and to begge, I am ashamed.
