And assone as he cometh home, he calleth together his louers and neyghboures, saiyng vnto them: reioyse with me, for I haue found my shepe whiche was lost.

Lykewyse I saye vnto you ioye is made in the presence of the Angels of God ouer one synner that repenteth.

for thys my sonne was dead, and is alyue agayne, he was lost and is nowe founde. And they beganne to be mery.

For ye were as shepe goynge astraye: but are nowe returned to the shepeherde and byshop of your soules.

Which when he was come, and had sene the grace of God, was gladd, and exhorted them all that wyth purpose of hert they woulde continually cleaue vnto the Lorde.

I go astraye, lyke a shepe that is lost: Oh seke thy seruaunt, for I do not forget thy commaundementes.

Yea, and though I be offered vp vpon the offeringe and sacrifyce of youre fayth: I reioyce, and reioyce wyth you al.

Ye are my frendes, yf ye do whatsoeuer I commaunde you.

He that hath the bryde is the brydegrome. But the frend of the brydegrom, whiche standeth by and heareth him reioyseth greatlye of the brydegromes voyce. Thys my ioye is fulfilled.

I saye vnto you, that lykewyse ioye shalbe in heauen ouer one synner, that repenteth, more then ouer nyntye and nyne iust persons whiche nede no repentaunce.

whiche in tyme past were not vnder mercye, but nowe haue obtayned mercye.

For what is oure hope or ioye, or crowne of reioysynge: are not ye it in the presence of our Lord Iesus Christ at hys coming?

Therfore my brethren dearlye beloued & lounged for my ioye & crowne, so continue in the Lord, ye beloued.

all wayes in al my prayers for you, and praye wyth gladnes,

And her neighbours and her cosyne harde tell howe the Lorde had shewed great mercye vpon her, And they reioyceth with her.

And when he hath found hym, he putteth hym on hys shoulders wyth ioye.
