But hys father sayed to hys seruauntes: brynge forthe that beste garmentes, & put it on hym, and put a rynge on hys hande, & showes on hys fete.

And longe whyte garmentes were geuen vnto euery of them. And it was sayde vnto them that they should reste for a litle season vntyll the number of their felowes and brethren, & of them that should be kylled as they were, were fulfylled.

After this I behelde, and lo a greate multitude (which no man coulde numbre) of al nacions and people, and tonges, stode before the seate, and before the lambe, clothed wyth longe whyte garmentes, and palmes in their handes,

they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father.

Let him that hath eares, heare what the spyryte sayeth vnto the congregacyons. To hym that ouercommeth will I geue to eate Manna, that is hyd and wyll geue hym a whyte stone, and in the stone a new name wrytten, whiche no man knoweth sauynge he that receiueth it.

For al ye that are baptysed, haue put on Christ.

but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Christ. And make not prouysyon for the fleshe, to fulfyll the lustes of it.

O how pleasaunt are thy treadinges with thy shoes, thou princes daughter? Thy thinges are like a fayre iewel, which is wrought by a connyng worke master:

Let thy Preastes be clothed wyth rightuousnesse, and let thy saynctes reioyse.

The kynges daughter is all glorious within, her clothyng is of wrought golde.

He hathe made my fete lyke hertes fete, and set me vpon hye.

I counsel the to bye of me golde tryed in the fyre, that thou mayest be ryche, and whyte raymente, that thou mayest be clothed, that thy fylthye nakednes do not appere, & annointe thine eyes wyth eye salue, that thou maiest se.

and shoed with shoes prepared by the Gospel of peace.

The ryghteousnes no doubte whiche is good before God commeth by the fayth of Christe, vnto all and vpon all that beleue. There is no difference:

I wyl decke her Preastes with health and her saynctes shall reioyse and be glad.

Iron and brasse shall hange on thy shooes & thyne age shalbe as thyne youth.

And the sonne sayed vnto him: father, I haue synned agaynst heauen in thy syghte, & am no more worthy to be called thy sonne.

And brynge hyther the fatted caulfe and kyll hym, and let vs eate and be merye:
