Luke 13:23

Then sayde one vnto hym: Lorde, are ther fewe that shalbe saued? And he sayde vnto them:

But strayt is the gate, and narrowe is the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: & feawe there be that fynde it.

For manye are called and fewe be chosen.

So the laste shalbe firste, and the first shalbe laste. For many are called, and few be chosen.

When his disciples hearde that, thei were exceadingly amased saying: who then can be saued?

And he went thorowe all maner of cities & tounes teachynge and iorneynge towardes Hierusalem.

stryue with your selues to enter in at the strayte gate: For manye I saye vnto you wyl seke to enter in, & shal not be able.
