Neuerthelesse geue almose of that ye haue, and beholde all is cleane to you.

Sell that ye haue, and geue almes. And make you bagges whiche were not old, and treasure that faileth not in heauen, where no these cometh, neyther mothe corrupteth.

Pure deuocyon and vndefyled before God the father is thys: to visite the fatherlesse and wyddowes in theyr aduersitye, and to kepe hym selfe vnspotted of the worlde.

Vnto the pure are all thynges pure, but vnto them that are defyled and vnbeleuynge, is nothynge pure: but euen the very myndes and consciences of them are defyled.

To do good, and to distrybute, forget not, for wt suche sacryfyces God is pleased.

And the voyce spake vnto hym agayne the seconde tyme: what God hath clensed, that make thou not commen.

And I saye also vnto you: make you frendes, of the wycked mammon, that when ye shall depart, they maye receyue you into euerlastynge habitacyons.

Wherfore, O Kyng, be content with my councel, that thou mayeste lowse thy synnes wyth ryghtuousnesse, and thyne offences with mercye to poore people: for suche thynges shall prolonge thy peace.

He that hath pittie vppon the poore, lendeth vnto the Lord: & loke what he layeth oute, it shalbe payed hym agayn.

He that doeth a poore man wrong, blasphemeth hys maker: but who so hathe pytye of the poore, doeth honoure vnto God,

For God is not vnryghtuous that he should forget your worke and laboure that procedeth of loue, which loue you shewed in hys name, whiche haue mynystred vnto the saynctes, & yet mynyster.

For yf there be fyrste a wyllynge mynde, it is accepted accordyng to that a man hath, and not accordynge to that he hath not.

And Zache stode forthe and sayed vnto the Lord, beholde Lord, the haulfe of my goodes I geue to the pore, and yf I haue done anye man wronge, I wyl restore hym foure folde:

When Iesus hearde that, he sayed vnto hym. Yet lackeste thou one thynge. Sell all that thou haste, and distrybute it vnto the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come, & folowe me.

Geue to hym that axeth, & from him that woulde borow tourne not away.

He hath sparsed abrode, and geuen to the poore, hys ryghtuousnes remayneth for euer his horne shalbe exealted with honoure

To the chaunter, a Psalme of Dauid. Blessed is he, that consydereth the poore: the Lord shal deliuer him in the tyme of trouble.

Let hym that stole, steale no more, but let hym rather laboure wyth his handes some good thynge, that he maye haue to geue vnto hym that nedeth.

Then the disciples euery man accordinge to his abilite, purposed to send succoure vnto the brethren, which dwelt in Iewry.

For ye shall haue poore folke alwaies with you, but me shall ye not haue alwayes.

But after many yeares I came & brought almes to my people and offerynges,

With louyng mercye and fayethfulnesse synnes be forgeuen, and who so feareth the Lorde, he eschueth euell.

because it entreth not into his herte, but into his bealy: and goeth out into the draught that pourgeth out all meates.
