whiche saued vs and called vs with an holye callynge, not accordynge to hys owne purpose & grace whiche grace was geuen vs thorowe Christe before the worlde was,
accordynge as he had chosen vs in hym, before the foundacyon of the worlde was layde that we shoulde be Saynctes and wythoute blame before hym thorow loue.
But we are bounde to geue thankes alwaye to God for you brethren beloued of the Lorde, because that God hath from the beginnynge chosen you to saluacyon, thorow sanctifiynge of the spyryte, and thorowe beleuing the truet
Fvrther more we beseche you brethren and exhorte you in the Lord Iesus, that ye increase more and more, euen as ye haue receiued of vs, howe ye oughte to walke and to please God.
that thou mighteste feare the Lorde thy God, to kepe all hys ordinaunces and hys commaundementes whyche I commaunde the, boeth thou and thy sonne, and thy sonnes sonne al dayes of thy lyfe, that thy dayes maye be prolonged.
Thus sayeth the lord of Hostes: The fast of the fourth moueth, the fast of the fyfth, the fast of the seuenthe, & the faste of the tenth, shalbe ioye and gladnesse, and prosperous hye feastes vnto the house of Iuda: Only loue the treuth and peace.
