He sheweth strength with his arme, he scattereth them that are proude in the ymagynacion of their hertes.

A Psalme. O synge vnto the Lorde a new song, for he hath done maruelous thynges. With hys owne ryght hande and with his holy arme hathe he gotten the victory.

The Lorde wyl make bare hys holye arme, and shewe it forthe in the sight of al the Gentyls, & all the endes of the earthe shall se the sauing healthe of oure God.

Wake vp, wake vp, and be strong: O thou arme of the Lorde: wake vp, lyke as in tymes paste, euer and sence the worlde beganne.

in as muche as when they knewe God, they glorifyed him not as God, neither were thankful, but waxed full of vanities in theyr Imaginations, and their folishe hertes were blinded.

Then dyd I Nabuchodonosor loue, magnifye and prayse the kynge of heauen: for all hys worckes are true, and hys wayes righte. As for those that go on proudely, he is able to brynge them doune.

howe he had led Moses by the ryght hande with hys glorious arme: how he had deuided the water before them (wherby he gat him selfe an euerlasting name)

beholde the Lorde, euen the Allmyghtie shall come with power, and beare rule with hys arme. Beholde, he bryngeth his treasure with hym, & hys worckes go before hym.

The voice of ioy and meyth is in the dwellynges of the rightuous, for the ryght hand of the Lord hath gotten the victory.

Thou breakest the proude, like one that is wounded, thou scatrest thine enemies abroad with thy mightye arme.

And whan the Lord saw that the wekednesse of man was encreased vpon the erth, & that al the ymaginacion & thoughtes of his hert was only euell contynually,

Therfore shal her plages come at one daye, death, and sorowe, and honger, and she shalbe brente wyth fyre, for stronge is the Lorde God, whiche iudgeth her.

Lykewyse ye yonger submit youre selues vnto the elder. Submit youre selues euerye man, one to another, knyt youre selues together in lowlines of mynde. For God resisteth the proude & geueth grace to humble.

wherewith we ouerthrowe Imaginations and euerye hye thynge that exalteth it selfe agaynste the knoweledge of God, and brynge into captiuite all vnderstandynge to the obedience of Christe,

Thou hast a myghty arme, stronge is thy hande, and hye is thy righthande.

My soule is satisfied euen as it were with mary and fatnesse, when my mouth prayseth the with ioyful lyps.

I wyll alwaye geue thankes vnto the, for that thou hast done: & wil hope in thy name, for thy sayntes lyke it wel.

The Lorde bryngeth the counsayl of the Heythen to naught, and turneth the deuyces of the people.

eyther whether God assaied to go & take him a people from amonge nations, thorowe temptations and sygnes and wonders & thorow warre & wyth a myghty hand and a streatched oute arme and with myghtye terryble syghtes, accordynge vnto all that the Lord your God dyd vnto you in Egypt before your eyes.

Now I knowe that the Lord is greater then al Gods, for bicause that they dealt proudly with them.

And the Lorde smelled a swete sauour, & sayd in his hert: I wyll henceforth no more cursse the earthe for mans sake, for the imagination of mans herte is euyll, euen from the very youth of him. Moreouer I wyl not destroy from henceforthe all that lyueth as I haue done.

Thus the Lorde skattered them from thence vpon all the earth. And they left of to builde the city.

for lo, I wyll make the but smal among the Heathen, and lytle regarded among men.
