And behold thou shalt be dombe, and not able to speake vnto the tyme that these thinges be performed, because thou beleuest not my wordes whiche shalbe fulfylled in their ceason.
And I wyll make thy tunge cleue so to the rofe of thy mouth, that thou shalt be domme, and not be as a chyder wyth them: for it is an obstynate housholde.
In that daye shall thy mouth be opened to him, whiche is escaped, that thou mayest speake, & be no more domme: Yea and thou shalt be their shewtoken, that they may knowe, howe that I am the Lorde.
that by two immutable thynges (in which it was vnpossyble that GOD shaulde lye) we myghte haue perfecte consolacyon, whiche haue fled, for to holde faste the hope that is set before vs,
And when he came out he coulde not speake to them. Wherby they perceyued that he had sene some vysyon in the temple. And he beckened vnto them, and remayned speacheles.
After that he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meat, and caste in theyr tethe theyr vnbelese and hardnes of hert: because they beleued not them which had sene hym after hys resurreccyon.
And the Lorde aunswered the man of God & sayd: though the Lorde made wyndowes in heauen, yet wolde thys not be. And the other sayde: Beholde, thou shalt se it with thyne eyes, and shalt not eate thereof.
Then a great Lorde on whose hande the kyng leaned, aunswered the man of God and sayde, though the Lorde woulde make wyndowes in heauen, yet wolde not thys be. And he sayde agayne: Behold, thou shalt se it with thyne eyes and shalte not eate thereof.
And the Lorde spake vnto Moses & Aaron: bicause ye beleued me not to sanctify me in the eyes of the chyldren of Israel, therfore ye shall not brynge thys congregation into the land which I haue geuen them.
And the aungell aunswered and sayed vnto hym. I am Gabryel that stande in the presence of God, and am sente to speake to the: & shewe the these glad tidinges.
