And ther appeared vnto hym an Aungell of the Lorde standynge on the ryght syde of the altare of incense.
And the Angel of the Lord apeared vnto his wyfe and sayd vnto her: Behold, thou art barren and bearest not: But thou shalt conceyue and beare a sonne.
And the syxte angel blewe, and I hearde a voyce from the .iiij. corners of the golden aultare, which is before God,
Are they not al ministringe spirites, sent to minister for their sakes, whiche shal be heyres of saluation?
But the Aungell of the Lorde by nyght opened the prison dores, and broughte them forth, & sayed:
But the aungel sayde vnto them: Be not afrayed. For beholde, I bringe you tydinges of greate ioye that shall come to al the people:
And the aungel wente in vnto her, & sayde Hayle full of grace, the Lorde is with the: blessed art thou amonge women.
And the aungell aunswered and sayed vnto hym. I am Gabryel that stande in the presence of God, and am sente to speake to the: & shewe the these glad tidinges.
And God heard the voice of Manoah, and the angel of God came agayne vnto the wyfe, as she sat in the feldes: But Manoah her husbande was not wyth her.
& put the cens vpon the fyre before the Lord: that the cloude of the cens maye couer the mercyseate that is vpon the wytnesse, that he dye not.
And lo: the aungel of the Lord stode harde by them, and the brightnes of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afrayed.
