Moreouer the Cananites, and all the inhabyters of the Lande shall heare of it, and shall come about vs, and destroye the name of vs out of the world. And then what wilt thou do vnto thy myghtye name.

Oh Lorde what shall I say, when Israel turneth theyr backes before theyr enemyes:

But the Lorde wyl not forsake hys people, because of hys great names sake: because the Lorde had begonne to make you hys people.

O God, according vnto thy name, so is thy praise vnto the worldes ende: thy right hande is full of righteousnes.

Helpe, vs, O God oure sauyoure, for the glory of thy name: O deliuer vs, and forgeue vs oure synnes for thy names sake.

For they haue caste their heades together with one consent, & are confederate agaynst the.

Not vnto vs, O Lorde not vnto vs. but vnto thy name geue the praise for thy louing mercye & faythfulnesse.

She that is myne enemy shall loke vpon it, & be confounded, which now sayth. Where is thy Lorde God? Myne eyes shall beholde her, when she shalbe troden doune, as the clay in the stretes.
