and giue the the blessing of Abraham: both to the, and to thy sede with the, that thou mayst possesse the Lande (wherein thou arte a straunger) whych God gaue vnto Abraham
For they gat not the lande in possessyon thorowe their owne swearde, neyther was it their owne arme that helped them. But thy ryght hande, thyne arme and the lyght of thy countenaunce, because thou haddest a fauoure vnto them.
and am come downe to deliuer them out of the handes of the Egyptians, & to bringe them out of that land vnto a good lande & a large, & vnto a land that floweth with milke & hony: euen vnto the place of the Cananites Hethites, Amorites, Pherezites, Heuites, & of the Iebusites.
When thou art come vnto the land which the Lord thy God geueth the and enioyest it and dwellest therin: If thou shalt say, I will set a kynge ouer me: lyke vnto all the nations that are aboute me.
And the Lorde sayed vnto him. This is the laud which I sware vnto Abraham, Isaac, and Iacob sayinge: I wyll giue it to thy sede. I haue shewed it the before thyne eyes: but thou shalt not goo ouer thyther.
& foundest hys herte faythfull before the, & madest a couenaunte wyth hym to geue vnto hys sede the lande of the Cananites, Hethites, Amorites, Pheresites, Iebusytes & Gergesytes, and haste made good thy wordes: for thou arte ryghteous,
And the chyldren wente in, and possessed the lande, and thou subdudest before them the inhabyters of the lande, euen the Cananites, & gauest them into theyr hande, & theyr kynges and the people of the lande, that they myghte do with them what they wolde.
commaunde the children of Israel and say vnto them: when ye come into the lande of Canaan, thys is the lande that shall fall vnto youre enherytaunce, the lande of Canaan wyth all her costes.
When the Lord thy God hath destroyed the nacions before the, whether thou goest to conquere them, & when thou hast conquered them, and dwelt in theyr landes:
Naye, but what people Camos thy God dryueth out, that land possesse thou. But whatsoeuer nacyons the Lorde oure God expelleth, that land ought we to enioye.
After that Iacob was come into Egypte, your fathers cryed vnto the Lorde, & the Lord sent Moses & Aaron, which brought your fathers out of Egypt, & made them dwel in thys place.
He dyd cast out the Heathen before them, caused their lande to be deuyded among them for an heritage, and made the trybes of Israel to dwell in their tentes.
Now when they came therin, and possessed it, they folowed not thy voyce, and walcked not in thy law: but all that thou commaundedest them to do, that haue they not done, & therfore come al these plages vpon them.
