Crye out these thinges among the Gentiles, proclame warre, wake vp the gyauntes, let them drawe nye, let them come vp all the lustye warryours of them.

Therfore prepare the, set thy selfe in araye with all thy people, that are come vnto the by heapes, and be thou their defence.

Heare the worde of the Lorde, O ye Gentyles, preache in the Iles that lye farre of, & saye: he that hath scatred Israell, shall gather hym together agayne, and shall kepe hym as a shepeherde doth hys flocke.

And as concernynge the prophetes that disceyue my people, thus the Lorde sayeth agaynst them: When they haue enye thynge to byte vpon, then they preach that all shalbe well: but yf a man put not some thynge is to their mouthes, they preach of warre agaynst hym.

preache amonge the Gentiles, let youre voyce be hearde, make a token: crye oute, kepe no sylence but saye: Babylon shall be wonne, Bel shalbe confounded, & Merodach shalbe ouercome. Yea their Goddes shalbe brought to shame, and theyr ymages shall stande in feare.

Come ye Heithen & heare, take hede ye people. Herken thou earth & all that is therin: thou rounde compasse & all that groweth there vpon

Tell it out amonge the Heathen, that the Lorde is kynge: and that it is he, which hath made the rounde worlde so faste, that it can not be moued, and howe that he shall iudge the people righteously.

Make battell agaynst her (shall they say) Aryse, let vs go vp, whyle it is yet daye. Alas, the daye goeth awaye, & the nyghte shadowes fal doune:

Make sharpe the arowes, and fyll the quyuers: for the Lorde shall rayse vp the sprete of the kynge of the Meedes, which hath already a desyre to destroye Babylon. This shalbe the vengeaunce of the Lordes, and the vengeaunce of hys temple.

Set vp a token in the lande: blow the trompettes amonge the Heythen, prouoke the nacyons agaynst her, call the kyngedomes of Ararat, Memni, and Ascanes agaynste her: nombre oute Taphsar agaynst her, bryng as greate a sorte of horses against her, as yf they were greshoppers.

Thus sayeth the Lord God: Thou art he, of whom I haue spoken afore tyme, by my seruauntes the prophetes of Israell, whyche prophecyed in those dayes and yeares, that I shulde brynge the vpon them.

yea, I will moue al heathen, & the comforte of all Heathen shall come, and so wyll I fyl thys house wyth honoure, sayeth the Lorde of hostes.

for I will gather together al the heathen, to fighte agaynste Ierusalem, so that the city shalbe woune, the houses spoyled, & the wemen defiled. The half of the city shal go away into captiuite, & the residue of the people shal not be caried out of the cyty.

After that shal the lord go forthe to fyght agaynste those heathen, as men vse to fight in the daye of batell.
