Joel 3:2

I shal gather al people together, & brynge them in the valleye of Iosaphat: and there wyl I reason with them: because of my people & herytage of Israel, whom they haue scatred aboute in the nacyons, and parted my lande,

Therfore ye shall wayte vpon me (sayeth the Lord) vntil the tyme that I stand vp: for I am determed, to gather the people & to bring the kingedoms together, that I may poure oute myne anger, yea, al my wrothfull displeasure vpon them. For all the worlde shalbe consumed wyth the fyre of my gelousy.

For the Lorde shall iudge all fleshe with the fyre, and with his swearde, & there shalbe a greate nombre slayne of the Lorde.

Wyth pestylence and bloude will I punysh hym: stormy rayne & hayle stones, fyre & brimstone, wyl I cause to rayne vpon him & all his heape yee & vpon al that greate people that is with hym.

And he gathered them together into a place, called in the Hebrue tonge Armagedon.

Let the people aryse, & get them to the valleye of Iosaphat, for there wyll I sit, & iudge all Heathen rounde about.

At the same tyme wyll I geue vnto Gog, a place to be buried in, in Israel: euen the valley where thorow men go from the east to the see warde. Those that trauayle therby, shall abhorre it. There shall Gog and all hys people be buried: and it shalbe called the valleye of the people of Gog.

And because thou hast sayd: what, both these nacyons and both these landes must be myne, & I wyll haue them in possession, where as the Lorde was there. Therfore, thus sayeth the Lorde God:

For the Lorde had a iudgement to geue vpon all people, and wyll holde hys courte of iustice with all fleshe and punyshe the vngodly, sayeth the Lorde.

& shal go out to deceiue the people which are in the four quarters of the earthe Gog & Magog, to gether them together to battayle, whose nomber is as the sande of the sea,

For they are the spirites of deuils working miracles to go out vnto the kinges of the earth, & to the whole worlde to gather them to the batayle of the greate daye of God almighty.

for they shed out the bloud of sainctes, & prophetes, & therfore hast thou geuen them bloud to drinke, for they are worthy.

Thus sayth the Lorde: For thre and foure wickednesses of Edom I wyl not spare him, because he persecuted hys brother wyth the swearde, destroyed his mothers wombe, bare hatred very longe, and so kepte indignacyon alwaye by hym.

Yee euen thus sayeth the Lord God: In the fyre of my gelousy haue I take a deuyce, agaynst the resydue of the Gentiles, and agaynst all Edom which haue taken in my lande vnto them selues for a possession, which also reioysed from their whole herte with a dyspiteful stomacke to waste it, and to spoyle it.

Thus sayeth the Lorde God: For so much as Moab and Seir do say: As for the house of Iuda, it is but lyke as all other Gentyles be.

As concernynge the Ammonites thus the Lorde sayeth: Hath Israell no chyldren, or is he withoute an heyre? Why hath your kynge then taken Gad in? wherfore both hys people dwel in hys cities?

Thus sayeth the Lorde vpon all myne euell negbours, that laye hande on myne heretage, whiche I haue geuen my people of Israel: Beholde, I will plucke them (namely Israel) out of their lande, & put out the house of Iuda from amonge them.

And the fourth daye they assembled in the valeye of blessynge, for there they blessed the Lord. And therfore they called the name of the sayd place the valeie of blessynge vnto thys daye.

And the nacyons were angrye, and thy wrath is come, and the tyme of the dead that they shoulde be iudged and that thou shouldeste geue rewarde vnto thy seruauntes the Prophetes and saynctes, and to them that feare thy name small and greate, and shouldeste destroye them, whyche destroye the earth.

For I wyl come to gather all people and tonges wt their workes and ymaginacyons: these shall come, and se my glory.

Israel is a scatred flocke, the Lyons haue dispersed them. Fyrste the kynge of the Assyryans deuoured them, last of all thys Nabuchodonosor Kyng of Babylon hath brosed all theyr bones.

My shepe go wandrynge vpon all mountaynes, and vpon euerye hye hyl. Yea they be scatred abroade in al feldes, and there is no man, that careth for them, or seketh after them.

Thou sonne of man, prophecie vpon the mountaynes of Israel, & speake: Heare the worde of the Lorde, O ye mountaynes of Israell:

In the valleye appoynted, there shalbe many, many people: for the daye of the Lorde is nye in the valleye appoynted.

But they knowe not the thoughtes of the Lorde, they vnderstande not hys councell, that shal gather them together as the sheeues in the barne.
