Thus shall ye knowe, that I the Lorde youre God dwell vpon my holy mounte of Syon. Then shall Ierusalem be holy, and there shall no straungers go thorowe her any more.

Ye shall well knowe, that I am in the myddeste of Israel, and that I am youre God: yea, & that there is none other, & my people shal no more be broughte to confusyon.

Beholde, vpon the mountaynes come the fete of hym, that bryngeth good tydynges, and preacheth peace. O Iuda, kepe thy holy dayes, perfourme thy promyses: for Beliall shall come nomore in the, he is vtterly roted out.

For thus sayeth the Lorde of hostes the God of Israell: It wil come therto, that when I haue brought Iuda oute of captyuyte, these wordes shalbe hearde in the lande and in his cities: The Lorde, whiche is the fayre brydegrome of ryghtuousnesse, make the frutefull O thou holy hyll:

for I wil not leaue theyr bloud vnauenged. And the Lorde shal dwel in Syon.

thus sayeth the Lord of hostes: I wil turne me agayne vnto Syon & wil dwell in the middest of Ierusalem: so that Ierusalem shalbe called a faythfull, and true cytie, the hyll of the Lorde of hostes, yea an holy hill.

& wyll geue yssue vnto the lame, and make of the out castes a greate people: and the Lorde hym selfe shalbe their kynge vpon the mount Sion, from this tyme forth for euermore.

The tentes of his palace shall be pytch betwyxte the two seas, vpon the hill of the noble Sanctuarye, for he shall come to the ende of it, & then shal no man helpe him.

Thus shall it haue .xviij.M. measures rounde about And from that tyme forth, the name of the cyte shalbe: the Lorde is there.

This is the descripcyon of the house: Aboue vpon the mount rounde aboute all the corners, it shalbe the holyest of all. Beholde, that is the descrypcyon and fashyon of the house.

There shalbe fote pathes and comen stretes, this shalbe called the holy waye. No vncleane person shall go thorow it, for the Lorde hym selfe shall go with them that waye, and the ignoraunt shall not erre,

Crye oute, and be glad, thou that dwellest in Sion, for greate is thy prince, the holy one of Israell.

At Salem is hys tabernacle, and his dwellinge in Sion.

O prayse the Lorde, whiche dwelleth in Syon, shewe the people of hys doynges.

I haue heard the murmuring of the chyldren of Israel, tel them therfore & say that at euen they shall eate flesh, & in the mornyng they shall be fylled wyth bred, & ye shall knowe that I am the Lorde youre God.

No man shall do euyl to another, no man shall destroye another, in all the hyll of my Sanctuarye. For the earth shalbe full of the knowledge of the Lorde, euen as thoughe the water of the sea floweth ouer the earth.

I shall brynge forth my ryghtuousnesse. It is not farre, and my health shall not traye longe awaye. I wyll laye health in Sion, and geue Israel my glorye.

Then wyll I brynge to my holye mountayne, and make them ioyfull in my house of prayer. Their burnt offeringes & sacryfyces shalbe accepted vpon mine aulter, for my house shalbe an house of prayer for all people.

and the whole, valleye of the dead karcases, and of the ashes, and all Ceremoth vnto the broke of Cedron: and from thence vnto the corner of the horsgate toward the Easte, where as the Sanctuarye of the Lorde also shall be set. And when it is nowe buylded, and set vp of this fashyon it shall neuer be broken, nor caste doune any more.

But vpon my holye hil, euen vpon the hye hil of Israel shal al the house of Israel and all that is in this lande, worshippe me: and in the same place wyll I fauoure them, and there wil I require youre heaueofferinges, and the fyrstlynges of your oblacions, with all youre holie thinges.

I wyll geue yow synowes, and make flesh grow vpon you, & couer you ouer with skinne: & so geue you breth, that ye may lyue, and knowe, that I am the Lorde.

Therfore thus sayeth the Lord God: Of all the straungers that dwell amonge the chyldren of Israell, no straunger (whose herte & fleshe is not cyrcumcysed) shall come within my Sanctuarye:

O Lorde, and done wyckedly agaynste all thy ryghteousnes: yet let thy wrothfull displeasure be turned awaye (I beseche the) from thy cytye Ierusalem thy holy hill. And why? for oure synnes sake, and for the wickednesse of oure forefathers is Ierusalem and thy people abhorred, of all them that are aboute vs.

vnto whom only the lande was geuen, that no straunger shoulde come amonge them.
