Back byte not one another, brethren. He that backbyteth hys brother, and he that iudgeth hys brother, backbyteth the lawe, and iudgeth the lawe. But and yf thou iudge the law, thou art not an obseruer of the law, but a iudge.

Wherfore laye a syde all malycyousnes, and all gyle, and dyssymulacyon, and enuye, and all backbytynge:

Therfore arte thou inexcusable (O man) whosoeuer thou be that iudgest. For in that same wherin thou iudgest another, thou condemnest thy selfe. For thou that iudgeste doest euen the same selfe thynges.

Grudge not one agaynst another brethren lest ye be damned. Beholde the iudge standeth before the dore.

Iudge not and ye shall not be iudged. Condemne not, and ye shall not be condemned. Forgeue you, ye shalbe forgeuen.

Therfore iudge nothinge before the tyme vntill the Lorde come, who wyll lyghten thinges, that are hyd in darckenes, and open the counsels of the hertes. And then shall euery man haue praise of God.

A man full of woordes shall not prospere vpon the earth: a malicious & wicked person shalbe hunted awaye, and destroyed.

Let all bitternes, fearsnes and wrath, roring and cursed speakinge, be put awaye from you, wyth all maliciousnes.

For I feare least it come to passe, that when I come, I shall not fynde you suche as I woulde, and I shalbe founde amonge you debate, enuiynge, wrath, stryfe, backbytynges, whisperynges, swellynges & discorde.

vnkynde, truce breakers, stubborne false accusars, ryatours, fierce despysers of them whiche are good,

Euen so muste theyr wyues be honeste, not euyll speakers, but sober and faythfull in all thynges.

What shall we saye then? Is the lawe synne? God forbid: but I knewe not what synne meante but by the law. For I had not knowne what luste had meant, except the lawe had sayed, thou shalte, not lust.

For before God they are not ryghtuous whiche heare the lawe: but the doers of the lawe shalbe iustifyed.

But who so loketh in the perfecte lawe of lybertye, and contynueth therin (yf he be not a forgetfull hearer, but a doar of the worke) the same shall be happye in hys dede.

And the elder women lykewyse, that they be in such rayment as becommeth holynes, not false accusars, not geuen to muche drynkynge, but teachers of honest thinges

Erre not my deare brethren.

Wherfore deare brethren, let euerye man be swyfte to heare, slowe to speake, and slow to wrath.

Yf ye fulfyll the royall lawe accordynge to the scripture whiche sayeth. Thou shalte loue thyne neyghboure as thy self, ye do wel.

Be ye pacyente therfore brethren, vnto the commynge of the Lord. Behold the husbande man wayghteth for the precious frute of the earth & hath long pacience therevpon, vntyll he receyue (the early and the latter rayne.)

Take (my brethren) the Prophetes for an ensample of sufferyng aduersitye, & of longe pacience, whiche spake in the name of the Lorde.
