They consydre not in their hertes that I remembre all their wickednes. They go aboute with their owne inuencions, but I se them wel ynough.

For there is nothynge couered the shall not be vncouered: neyther hydde, that shall not be knowen.

Thou settest our misdedes before the, and our secrete sinnes in the light of thy countenaunce.

The Lorde hath sworne agaynst the pride of Iacob: these workes of theirs wyl I neuer forget.

Then spake the Lorde, concernynge this people that haue pleasure to go so nymblye with their fete, and leaue not of, and therfore displease the Lorde: in so much, that he wyll now bringe agayne to remembraunce al their mysdedes, and punysh all their synnes.

Thyne owne wickednesse shall reproue the, and thy turnynge awaye shal condemne the: that thou maiest know and vnderstand, how euyl and hurtful a thinge it is, that thou hast forsaken thy Lorde thy God, and not feared him, sayeth the Lorde God of Hostes.

neyther is there anye creature inuisible in the syght of him. For all thinges are naked and bare vnto the eyes of him, of whom we speake.

Therfore iudge nothinge before the tyme vntill the Lorde come, who wyll lyghten thinges, that are hyd in darckenes, and open the counsels of the hertes. And then shall euery man haue praise of God.

They be gone to farre, & haue destroyed themselues, like as they dyd afore tyme at Gabaa. Therfore their wyckednes shalbe remembred, and their synnes punyshed.

Thou art the greate and myghtie God, whose name is the Lorde of Hostes, greate in counsel, and infinite in thought. Thine eyes loke vpon all the wayes of mens chyldren, to rewarde euery one after his waye, and according to the frutes of his inuencyons.

For myne eyes beholde all their wayes, and they can not be hyd fro my face, nether can their wycked dedes be kepte close out of my syght.

Thy wayes and thy thoughtes, haue brought the vnto this, thys is thyne owne wickednesse and disobedience, that hath possessed thine herte:

In those companies are harpes and lutes, tabrettes & pipes and wyne. But they regarde not the worck of the Lorde, and consydre not the operacyon of hys handes.

Oh remembre not the synnes and offences of my youth, but accordynge vnto thy mercye thynke vpon we, O Lord, for thy goodnesse.

Thus the Lord is knowen to execute true iudgemente, when the vngodly is trapped in the woorkes of hys owne handes. Selah.

Whereas they do sacryfice, offeringe the fleshe and eatinge it: the Lorde wyll haue no pleasure therin: but wyll remembre their wickednes, and punyshe their sinnes. Israel turneth agayne into Egipte,

An oxe knoweth hys Lorde, & an Asse his masters stall: but Israel knoweth nothynge, my people hath no vnderstanding.

O considre this, ye that forget God: lest I plucke you awaye, and there be none too delyuer you.

And why? hys eyes loke vpon the wayes of man, and he seith all hys goynges.

I would they were wyse and vnderstode thys & woulde consider their later ende.

But and yf ye wyl not do so, behold, ye synne agaynst the Lord: and be sure your synne wyll fynde you out.

They pondre not in their myndes, for they haue nether knowledge ner vnderstandyng, to thyncke thus: I haue brent one pece in the fyre: I haue baked bred with the coles there of, I haue rosted flesh with all, & eaten it: shall I now of the resydue make an abhomynacyon, & fall downe before a rotten pece of wodd?

The people that seke vnto the in trouble, that same aduersite which they complayne of is vnto them a chastening before the.

Youre synne (O ye of the trybe of Iuda) is written in the table of youre hertes, and grauen so vpon the edges of your aulters wyth a penne of yron and wyth an adamant clawe:

Did not the Lorde remembre the sacryfyces, that ye youre forefathers, youre kynges and rulers (wyth all the people) haue offred in the cities of Iuda, in the stretes and land of Ierusalem? and hath he not consydred this in his mynde?

Thus the prest is become lyke the people. Wherefore I wil punysh them for their wicked wayes & rewarde them accordinge to their owne ymagynacions.

All their wyckednesse is done at Galgal, there do I abhorre them. For the vngracyousnes of their owne inuencyons. I will driue them oute of my house. I will loue them no more, for all their princes are vnfaythfull.

The Lorde hath a courte to holde with Iuda, and wil punishe Iacob. After their owne wayes and accordinge to their owne inuencyons shall he recompence them.

Aryse, and get the to Niniue that greate cyte: & preache vnto them, how that their wyckednes is come vp before me.

For he sayeth in hys herte: Tushe, God hath forgotten, he hath turned awaye hys face, so that he wyll neuer se it.

(because thou hast loked the out vanities, and prophecied lies) that it may come vpon thy necke, like as vpon the other vngodly, which be slayne: whose day came, when their wickednesse was full.

He hath wounde vs, & he shall bind vs vp agayne after two dayes shall he quicken vs, in the thirde day he shal rayse vs vp, so that we shal lyue in his sight.
