She conceyued yet again, and bare a doughter. And he sayde vnto him: Call her name Loruhamah (that is, not obtayninge mercy) for I wyl haue no pyte vpon the house of Israell, but forget them, and put them cleane oute of remembraunce.
First when the Lorde spake vnto Oseas, he sayde vnto him: Go thy waye, take an harlot to thy wyfe, and get chyldren by her: for the lande hath committed greate whordome agaynst the Lorde.

Then the Lordes aungell gaue aunswere, and sayde: O Lorde of hostes, howe longe wylte thou be vnmercyfull to Ierusalem and to the cytyes of Iuda, wyth whom thou hast bene dyspleased nowe these .lxx. yeares.
Agayne, thus sayeth the Lorde: Go not vnto them, that come together, for to mourne and wepe: for I haue taken my peace from this people (saieth the Lorde) yee my fauoure & my mercy.
Theyr haruest shalbe brente, theyr wyues which were theyr bewtye when they came forth: shalbe defyled. For it is a people wythout vnderstandynge, & therfore he that created them, shall not fauoure them, and he that made them shal not be mercyful to them.
And when Iehoram sawe Iehu, he sayde: is it peace Iehu? And he sayde, what peace shulde there be, so longe as the whoredomes of thy mother Iezabel, and her witchcraftes are so great?

Thus sayeth the Lorde: Where is the byll of your mothers deuorcement, that I sente vnto her or who is the vsurer, to whome I solde you? Beholde, for youre owne offences are ye solde: & because of youre transgression, is youre mother forsaken.
