Genesis 6:13

Than sayde God to Noe: the ende of all flesh is come before me, for the erth is full of their myschefe. And lo, I wyl destroye them with the erth.

The ende of al thinges is at hande. Be ye therfore discrete and sober, that ye maye be apt to prayers.

And he sayde: Amos, what seist thou? I answered: a maunde wyth sommer fruyte. Then sayde the Lorde vnto me: the ende commeth vpon my people of Israell, I wyll no more ouerse them.

Thus was destroyed al that was vpon the erth, both man, beastes, wormes and foules of the ayre, so that they were destroyed from the erth: saue Noe was reserued onlye and they that were with him in the arck.

There were tyrantes in the world in those dayes. For after that the chyldren of god had gone in, vnto the daughters of men, & had begotten them chyldren, the same chyldren were the mightiest of the world, & men of renowne.

By faythe Noe honoured God, after that he was warned of thynges whiche were not sene, and prepared the arcke to the sauynge of hys housholde, thorow the whiche arcke, he condemned the worlde, and became heyre of the rightuousnes that commeth by faythe.

O thou that dwellest by the greate waters O thou that hast so greate treasure & ryches, thyne ende is come: and the rekenynge of thy winninges.

The brethren Symeon and Leui, wycked instrumentes are their wepons.

Make the an arcke of pyne tree, and make chaumbers in the arcke, and pitch it wythin & without wyth pytch.

For seuen dayes hence wil I sende rayne vpon the erth .xl. dayes and .xl. nyghtes, and wyll destroy al maner of thynges that I haue made, from of the face of the erth.

And all flesh that moued on the erth, both birdes, catell and beastes perysshed, with al that crepte on the erth and al men:

And the Lorde smelled a swete sauour, & sayd in his hert: I wyll henceforth no more cursse the earthe for mans sake, for the imagination of mans herte is euyll, euen from the very youth of him. Moreouer I wyl not destroy from henceforthe all that lyueth as I haue done.

Come ye Heithen & heare, take hede ye people. Herken thou earth & all that is therin: thou rounde compasse & all that groweth there vpon

Nowe doth the Lorde God no maner of thynge, but he telleth hys secrete before vnto hys seruauntes the Prophetes.
