Then he saide to Gihezi: gyrde vp thy loines, and take my staffe in thyne hande and away. Yf any man mete the, salute hym not: and yf any salute the, answere him not again. And put my staffe vpon the boye.
And moreouer the kynges seruauntes went in to blesse oure Lorde Kynge Dauid sayinge: thy God make the name of Salomon more fauoure then thyne, and hys seate more gloriouse then thyne. And the king bowed him selfe vpon the bede.
And al the people went ouer Iordan. And when the kynge was come ouer Iordan he kissed Berselai and toke his leaue of him, and he went backe agayne vnto hys owne place.
And Ioab fell to the grounde on his face, & bowed him selfe and blessed the kinge and saide: now thy seruaunt knoweth that I haue founde grace in the sight of my Lorde the kyng in that he hath fulfylled the request of his seruaunt.
he sent Ioram hys sonne vnto king Dauid to salute hym wyth peace & to blesse hym because he had fought against Adadezer and beaten hym, for Thoi kepte warre wyth Adadezer, which sonne brought vessels of syluer, golde, and of brasse wyth him.
And Eli blessed Elkanah and hys wyfe: and sayde: the Lorde geue the seede of thys woman, for that she hath lent the Lord. And they went vnto their owne whome.
And the .viij. daye he sente the people awaye. And they blessed the kynge and went vnto theyr tentes ioyouse & glad in herte for all the goodnesse that the Lord had shewed vnto Dauid hys seruaunt and to Israell hys people.
