Then when luste hath conceyued, she bringeth forth sinne, & sinne when it is fynyshed bryngeth forthe death.

The sacrifyce of the vngodly is abhominacion, for they offer the thyng that is gotten with wickednes.

Yea, what is he amonge you, that wyll do so muche as to shut the dores, or to kindle the fire vpon myne aulter for naught? I haue no pleasure in you, sayeth the Lord of hostes: and as for the meatofferynge, I will not accepte it at your hande.

Yf ye offre the blind, is not that euill? And yf ye offre the lame, and syck, is not that euyll? Yea, offre it vnto thy prince, shal he be content with the, or accepte thy personne, sayeth the Lorde of hostes.

but in all people he that feareth hym and worketh rightuousnes, is accepted wyth hym.

For whosoeuer in these thynges serueth Christe, pleaseth well God, & is commendeth of men.

Wherfore brynge ye me incense from Saba, & swete smellinge Calamus from farre countrees? Youre burntofferynges displease me, & I reioyse not in youre sacrifices.

It is not good to a regarde the personne of the vngodly, or to put backe the ryghteous in iudgmente.

and ye as lyuynge stones, are made a spirytuall housse, and an holye priesthode, for to offer vp spyrytuall sacryfyce, acceptable to God by Iesus Christe.

that I should be the minister of Iesu Christe amonge the Gentyles, and should minister the glad tydynges of God, that the gentils myghte be an acceptable offerynge, sanctifyed by the holye ghoste.
