Beholde thou castest me out thys daye from the face of the erth, & from thy syghte must I hyde myself, & I must be wandrynge and a vagabunde vpon the erth: Moreouer whosoeuer fyndeth me, wyl kyl me.

The iustice of bloude shall slee the murtherer, assone as he findeth him:

Heare me, O Lorde, & that soone, for my sprete waxeth faynte: hyde not thy face fro me, lest I be lyke vnto theym that go doune into the graue.

yf the auenger of bloud fynde hym without the borders of his fre towne, he shall slee the murtherer and be gyltlesse,

he the smot him shal dye, for he is a murtherer. The iustyce of bloude shall slee hym as soone as he fyndeth hym.

Then shall the kinge saye vnto them that shalbe on the lyfte hande. Departe from me ye cursed, into euerlastinge fyre, which is prepared for the deuyll and hys angels.

Therfore they shalbe as the morning cloud, & as the dew that early passeth away, & lyke as dust that the wynde taketh awaye from the floure, and as smoke that goeth oute of the chymney.

and beholde, there is trouble & darcknesse, vexacyon is rounde aboute him, and the cloude of erroure. And oute of suche aduersitie, shall he not escape.

The vngodlye is afrayed of euery parel, but the ryghtuous hath a good hope euen in death.

Let ther be no man to pytye, ner to haue compassyon vpon his fatherles chyldren.

Let his children be vagabaundes, and bege their breade: lette them seke it, as they that be destroyed.

And beholde, the whole kynred arose agaynst thy handmayde & sayde: delyuer vs hym that smote hys brother: that we may kil him for the soule of hys brother whome he slue, for we wyl destroy the heyre also. And so they shal quenche my sparkle whiche is lefte that he shall stere vp neyther name or yssue vpon the earth vnto my husbande.

And vpon them that are left a liue of you I wyl sende a fayntnes into theyr hertes, in all the land of their enemies: so that the sound of a leaf that falleth, shall chase them & they shall flee as though they fled a swerde, and shall fal, no man folowyng them.

And I wyll sette my face agaynst you & ye shall fal before youre enemyes, & they that hate you shall raygne ouer you, and ye shall flee when no man foloweth you.

And he cast Adam out, & sette at the enterynge of the garden Eden, Cherubin with a naked swerde mouynge in and out, to kepe the way to the tree of lyfe.

And Cayn sayd vnto the Lorde: my synne is greater, then that it may be forgeuen.

And the Lord shall scater the amonge all nacions from the one ende of the world vnto the other and there thou shalt serue straunge goddes, whyche nether thou nor thy fathers haue knowne: euen wood and stone.
