And Adam answered: The woman whych thou gauest to bere me company she toke me of the tree, and I ate.

He that hydeth hys synnes, shall not prospere: but who so knowledgeth them and forsaketh them shal haue mercy.

For they are ignoraunte of the ryghteousnes whiche is alowed before God, and go aboute to stablish theyr owne ryghtuousnes, and therfore are not obediente vnto the ryghtuousnes whiche is of valoure before God.

Haue I euer done any wicked dede where thorow I shamed my selfe before men: or any abhominacion, that I was fayne to hyde it?

He wyllinge to iustifye hym self, sayde vnto Iesus. Who is then my neyghboure?

Folyshuesse maketh a man to go out of his waye, and then is his hert vnpacient agaynst the Lorde.

And the Lorde God sayde: It is not good that man should be alone, I wyll make hym an helper to beare hym company.

And the lord God made of the ribbe whych he toke out of Adam a woman: and brought her vnto Adam.

And Adam gaue names vnto al maner catell, and vnto the foules of the ayre and vnto all maner beastes of the felde. But ther was no helpe founde vnto Adam to beare hym company.

And he sayde: Who tolde the that thou wast naked? hast thou eaten of the tree, of whyche I bade the that thou shuldest not eate?

And Saule sayde: they haue broughte them from the Amaleckytes. For the people spared the best of the shepe and of the oxen, to sacrifyce vnto the Lorde thy God. And the remnaunt we haue destroyed.
