The Iewes then which were with her in the house and comforted her, when they sawe Mary, that she arose vp hastely, and went out, and folowed her, saiynge: She goeth vnto the graue, to wepe there.
And therfore, thus sayeth the Lorde agaynst Iehoakim, the sonne of Iosiah kynge of Iuda: They shall not mourne for hym (as they vse to do) alas brother, alas syster: Nether shall they saye vnto hym: Alas syre, alas for that noble prynce.
Mourne not ouer the deed, & be not wo for them, but be sory for hym that departeth awaye: for he commeth not agayne, and seeth his natyue countre no more.
And Ieremiah lamented Iosiah, and all syngynge men and singing wemen speake of Iosiah to this day, & made it an ordinaunce in Israell: and they be written in lamentacions.

And when they came to the felde of Atad beyonde Iordane, there they made great & exceadyng sore lamentacion. And he mourned for his father .vij. daies.

And vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephune was there a parte geuen amonge the children of Iuda, by the mouthe of the Lord to Iosua, euen the cyty of Kariatharbe father of Enack whyche cytye is called Hebron.
And the children of Iuda that were without in the tounes of theyr lande, dwelte some at Kariath Arbe, & in the vyllages there of, and at Dibon, and in the vyllages there of:
And then Samuel dyed, and all Israel gathered together and lamented hym and buryed him in his owne house at Ramath. And Dauid arose and gat hym to the wildernesse of Pharan.
