And he sayde: take thy only sonne Isaac whome thou louest, and get the vnto the lande Moria, & sacrifice him there for a sacrifice vpon one of the mountayns whych I wyl shewe the.

For God so loueth the worlde, that he hath geuen his only sonne, that none that beleue in him, should perishe: but should haue euerlastinge lyfe.

whyche spared not his owne sonne but gaue hym for vs all: how shall he not wyth hym geue vs all thynges also?

In fayth Abraham offered vp Isaac, when he was tempted, and he offered hym beynge hys onelye begotten sonne, whiche had receyued the promyses,

by my selfe haue I sworne (sayth the Lord) because thou hast done this thynge and hast not spared thy only sonne,

And he sayde: laye not thy handes vpon the chylde, nether do any thyng at all vnto him, for now I know that thou fearest God, in that thou hast not kepte thyne only sonne from me.

And Salomon beganne to build the house of the Lorde at Ierusalem in mount Moriah, whiche was shewed Dauid hys father when he prepared a place in the treshyng floure of Ornan the Iebusite.

And after the two monethes, she turned againe vnto her father, which dyd with her accordinge to his vowe, which he had vowed, & so she knewe no man. And it became an ordinaunce in Israell yere by yere,

then that thinge that cometh out of the dores of my house agaynst me, when I come home in peace, from the children of Ammon, shalbe the Lordes, and I wil offer it vp a burntoffering.

Than the Lord sayd vnto Abraham: let it not be greauous vnto the, because of the ladd and of thy bondmayde: But in all that Sara hath sayde vnto the, heare her voyce, for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

But God setteth out his loue that he hath to vs, seing that whil we wer yet sinners, Christ died for vs.

Hath the Lorde a pleasure in many thousand rammes, or innumerable streames of oyle? Or shal I geue my fyrstborne for myne offences, and the fruyte of my body for the synne of my soule?

And Noe made an aulter vnto the Lord, & toke of all maner of cleane beastes, & all maner of clene foules, & offred sacrifice vpon the aultare.

Than Abraham rose vp early in the morning and sadled his asse, & toke two of hys meyny with him, & Isaac his sonne: & cloue wod for the sacryfice, and rose vp & got him to the place whyche God had appoynted hym.

And when they came vnto the place whych God shewed hym, Abraham made an aulter there & dressed the wood, & bounde Isaac his sonne & layde him on the aulter, aboue vpon the wood.

And Abraham called hys sonnes name that was borne vnto hym which Sara bare hym Isaac,
