Then the Lord God shope man, euen of the mould of the erth, & brethed into his face the breth of lyfe. So man was made a lyuyng soule.

as it is written: the fyrste man Adam was made a lyuinge soule, and the last Adam was made a quickeninge spirite.

The spryte of God hath made me, & the breth of the almyghtye hath geuen me my lyfe.

Or dust be turned agayn vnto earth from whence it came, and or the sprete returne vnto God, whyche gaue it.

But now O Lorde, thou father of oures: we are al the claye, and thou art our potter & we are al the worke of thy handes.

The fyrste man is of the earth, earthlye: the seconde man is the Lorde from heauen.

In the swete of thy face shalt thou eate brede, vntyll thou returne vnto the erth whence thou wast taken: for erth thou art, & vnto erth shalt thou returne.

My lippes shall talke of no vanite, and my tonge shall speake no disceyte

so that al that had the breth of lyfe in the nostrels of it thorow out all that was on drye lande, dyed.

The heauy burthen which the lord hath deuised for Israel. Thus saieth the lord, which spred the heauens abroade, layde the foundacyon of the earth, and geueth man the breath of lyfe:

For he knoweth whereof we be made, he remembreth that we are but dust.

Be ye sure, that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made vs, and not we our selues: we are but his people, and the shepe of his pastoure.

But O man, what arte thou whiche disputeste wyth God? Shall the worke saye to the workeman, why haste thou made me on thys fashion?

Every man can eschue a persone moued in anger, for what doeth he wyselye?

And the Lord God cast hym out of the garden of Eden, to tylle the erth whence he was taken.

Moreouer seynge we had fathers of oure fleshe whiche corrected vs, and we gaue them reuerence: shoulde we not muche rather be in subieccyon vnto the father of spyrytuall gyftes, that we myght lyue?

And they fel vpon theyr faces and sayd O most myghty God of the spirites of al fleshe, one man hath sinned, and wilt thou be wroth with al the multitude?

The lanterne of the Lord is the breath of man, and goeth thorow al the inward partes of the body.

Beholde, before God am I euen as thou, for I am fashyoned, and made euen of the same moulde.

We knowe surelye yf oure earthy mansyon wherin we nowe dwell were destroyed, that we haue a buyldynge ordeyned of God an habitacyon not made with handes, but eternall in heauen.

But we haue thys treasure in earthen vessels that the excellent power of it myght appeare to be of God, and not of vs.

And when he had sayd that he brethed on them and sayde. Receyue the holy ghost.

How moche moare in them that dwell in houses of claye whose foundacion is but earth, which shalbe consumed by the Moth.

lett the Lord God of the spirites of al fleshe, sette a man ouer the congregation,

A time to cut in peces, and a time to sowe together: A time to kepe silence, and a time to speake:

For Adam was fyrste formed, and then Eue.

But there arose a myste out of the ground, & watered all the face of the erth:

Res. The verye breth of oure mouth: euen the anoynted Lorde him self shalbe taken in oure synnes, of whom we saye: Vnder his shadowe we shalbe preserued amonge the Heythen.

Thus sayeth the Lorde God vnto these bones: Beholde, I wyll put breth into you, that ye maye lyue:

And God created man after hys likenes, after the lycknesse of god created he hym: male & female created he them.

I wyll geue yow synowes, and make flesh grow vpon you, & couer you ouer with skinne: & so geue you breth, that ye may lyue, and knowe, that I am the Lorde.
