And the eyes of bothe them were opened, that they vnderstode howe that they were naked. Than they sowed figge leues together and made them apurns.

For the scripture sayth whosoeuer beleueth on hym, shall not be ashamed.

so that ye shall haue ynoughe to eate, and be satisfyed, and prayse the name of the Lorde youre God, that so meruelouslye hath dealte wyth you. And my people shal neuer be confounded anye more.

so that thou also remembre thy wayes, & be ashamed of them: then shalte thou receyue of me thy elder and younger sisters, whome I will make thy doughters, and that besyde thy couenaunt.

Feare not, for thou shalte not be confounded: Be not ashamed, for thou shalt not come to confusyon. Yea thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remembre the dyshonoure of thy wedowheade.

For all they that hope in the shall not be ashamed: but suche as be scornefull despysers without a cause they shall be put to confucyon.

When Moses sawe that the people were naked (for Aaron had made them naked vnto their shame when they made insurrection)

Whosoeuer therfore shalbe ashamed of me and of my wordes, among this aduouterous and synfull generacion, of hym shall the sonne of man be ashamed when he cometh in the glory of hys father with the holy aungels.

Therfore they must be ashamed, for they haue committed abhomynacyon. But howe shulde they be ashamed, when they knowe nothinge, neither of shame nor good nurtoure? And therfore they shall fall amonge the slayne, and in the houre when I shall vyset them, they shall be brought doune, sayeth the Lorde.

Wherfore all caruers of Idoles are but vayne, & their labour lost. They must beare recorde them selues, that (seyng they came nether se ner vnderstande) they shalbe confounded.

Let me not be confounded, O Lorde, for I calle vpon the: lette the vngodlye rather be put to confusyon, and broughte vnto the hell.
