And as he prolonged the tyme, the men caught both him, his wyfe & his two doughters by the handes, because the Lord was mercyfull vnto him, and they brought hym forth & sette hym wythout the cyte.
not of the dedes of rightuousnes, which we wrought but of hys mercy he saued vs, by the fountayne of the newe byrth, & with the renuyng of the holye ghost,
In their troubles he forsoke them not, but the aungel that went forthe from his presence delyuered them. Of very loue & kindnesse that he had vnto them, redemed he them. He hath borne them, and caryed them vp euer, sence the worlde beganne.
For the Lord thy God is a pitiful God, he wil not forsake the neyther destroy the, nor forget the appoyntment made wt thy fathers whyche he sware vnto them.
the Lord is longe year he be angrye, and ful of mercy, and suffereth synne and trespace, and leaueth no man innocent, and vysyteth the vnrighteousnesse of the fathers vpon the chyldren, euen vpon the thyrd and fourth generacion,
And when the Lord walked before him, he cried: Lord Lord God full of compassion and mercy, which are not lightly angry but abundaunt in mercy and truth,
Then Iosua sayde vnto the two men that went to spye oute the countreye: go into the harlottes house, and bryng out thence, bothe the woman & all that pertayneth to her, as ye sware to her.
And as the mornynge arose the angels caused Lot to spede him sayinge: Stonde vp, take thy wyfe & thy two doughters & that that is at hande, lest thou peryshe in the synne of the cyte.
and kepest mercye in store for thousandes, & forgeueste wyckednes, trespace, and synne (for there is no man innocent before the) and vysitest the wyckednes of the father vpon the chyldren and vpon chyldrens chyldren, euen vnto the thyrd and fourth generation.
And remembre that thou was a seruaunte in the Lande of Egipt and how that the Lord God, brought the out thence wyth a mighty hande and a streatched out arme. For whyche cause the Lord thy God commaunded the to kepe the Saboth day.
But bycause the Lord loued you & bicause he would kepe the oth whych he hadde sworne vnto your fathers, therfore he brought you out of Egypt with a mighty hande and deliuered you out of the house of bondage: euen from the hande of Pharao, kynge of Egypt.
