Be not forgetfull to lodge straungers. For therebye haue diuers receyued Angels into theyr houses vnwares.

they answered: thy seruaunt our father is in good health and is yet aliue. And they bowed them selues and fel to the ground.

When Ioseph came home, they brought the present into the house to him, which they had in their handes, and fel flat on the ground befor him.

& taried behind hym selfe alone. And ther wresteled a man wyth him vnto the breaking of the day.

Than the men stode vp from thence and loked toward Sodome. And Abraham went with them to brynge them on the way.

Then she fell on her face, and bowed her selfe to the grounde and sayde vnto him: howe is it that I haue founde grace in thyne eyes, to know me, seyng: I am an alyaunt.

Be ye herberous one to another, & that without grudginge.

Distribute vnto the necessitie of the Saynctes, and be diligente to harboure.

And the chyldren of the Prophetes of Iericho, which saw him from a farre, sayde: the spyryte of Eliah doeth rest on Elizeus, and went against him, and bowed to the earth vnto him.

And Abram fell on hys face. And God talked moreouer wyth hym sayinge:

and sayde: Lord yf I haue founde fauoure in thy syght: go not by thy seruaunte.

& was gone out to walke in his meditations before the euen tide. And he lift vp his eyes & loked, and beholde the camels were comming.

Than Abraham bowed hym selfe before the people of the lande,

And Ioseph was gouernour in the land, and solde corne to all the people of the land. And his brethren came, & fel flat on the grounde before him.

And Ioseph toke them awaye from his lappe, and they fell on the grounde before hym.
