And the Lordes angell sayde further vnto her: se, thou art wt chylde & shalt bere a sonne, & shalt call hys name Ismael: because the Lord hath herde thy trybulacion.

Then the Lorde sayed: I haue surelye sene the trouble of mi people which ar in Egipt, and haue heard their cry whyche they haue of their taskemasters. For I know theyr sorow,

And therfore the Lorde shall geue you a token of hym selfe: Beholde, a vyrgyn shall conceyue and beare a sonne, and shall call hys name Emmanuel.

And in processe of tyme she couceyued and bare a sonne, & called hys name Samuel: because she had asked hym of the Lord.

Then sayd God: Sara thy wyfe shal bere the a sonne in dede & thou shalt cal his name Isaac. And I wyll make my bond with him, that it shalbe an euerlasting bond vnto hys seed after him.

who prouydeth meate for the rauen, when his younge ones crye vnto God, and fle aboute for wante of meate?

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the miserable estate of the poore: he hath not hid hys face fro me, but when I called vnto him he herde me.

And they satt them doune to eate breade. And as they lyft vp their eyes and loked aboute, there came a companye of Ismaelites from Gilead, and their camels laden wyth spicery baulme, and myrre, and were goynge doune into Egypte.

And God herde the voice of the chyld. And the angel of god called Hagar out of heauen and sayd vnto her: What ayleth the Hagar? Feare not, for god hath herde the voyce of the chyld where he lyeth.
