After these dedes, the worde of God, came vnto Abram in a vision sayinge: Feare not Abram, I am thy shyld, and thy rewarde shall be exceadynge greate.

And Abram answered: Lorde Iehouah, what wylte thou gyue me: I go childeles, and the cater of myne house, thys Eleasar of Damasco hath a sonne.

And behold, the worde of the Lord spake vnto Abram, sayinge: He shall not be thyne heyre, but one that shal come out of thyne own body shalbe thine heire.

And your father hath deceyued me, & chaunged mi wages .x. times: but God suffred him not to hurt me.

And the Lorde spake vnto Aaron: thou shalt haue none enheritaunce in theyr Land nor parte amonge them. For I am thy parte and thy enheritaunce amonge the children of Israel.

Then came the worde of the Lorde vnto Samuel, sayinge:

God is my strength & in him will I truste: my shylde & the horne that defendth me: mine hye holde and refuge: O my sauer, saue me from wronge.

After these dedes, GOD dyd proue Abraham and sayde vnto hym: Abraham. And he answered here am I.

And it chaunsed after these thynges, that one tolde Abraham sayng: Behold, Milcha she hath also borne chyldren vnto thy brother Nachor:

but shall haue no enheritaunce among their brethren: the Lorde he is their enherytaunce, as he hath sayde vnto them.

Then sayde the Aungel of the Lorde vnto Eliah: go doune with him, and be not afrayd of him. And he went doune with him vnto the kinge.

I call vpon the Lord wyth my voyce, and he heareth me out of hys holy hyll. Selah.

Let the house of Aaron put their truste in the Lorde for he is their succoure and defence

beholde the Lorde, euen the Allmyghtie shall come with power, and beare rule with hys arme. Beholde, he bryngeth his treasure with hym, & hys worckes go before hym.

but I will delyuer the, (sayeth the Lorde) and thou shalt not come in the handes of those men, whom thou fearest.
