for all the Lande whyche thou seest, wyl I gyue vnto the, & to thy sede for euer.

Art not thou oure God whiche diddest cast oute the enhabyters of this lande before thy people Israel, & gauest it to the seade of Abraham thy louer for euer?

Then the Lorde appeared vnto Abram & sayd: vnto thy seed wyll I gyue this lande. And he builded an aulter ther vnto the Lord whyche appeared vnto hym.

And the Land whych I gaue Abraham & Isaac wyl I giue vnto the, & vnto thy sede after the wyl I gyue it also.

And that same daye the Lorde made a couenaunte with Abram sayinge: vnto thy seed wyl I geue this land, from the riuer of Egypt, euen vnto the greate ryuer Euphrates,

and he gaue him none inheritaunce in it, no not the bredeth of a fote: but promised that he would geue it to hym to possesse, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no chylde.

Yea, the righteous shal possesse the land, and dwell therein for euer.

Such as be blessed of hym, shall possesse the lande: and they whome he curseth, shalbe roted out.

Blessed are the meke: for they shall inheret the earth.

commaunde the children of Israel and say vnto them: when ye come into the lande of Canaan, thys is the lande that shall fall vnto youre enherytaunce, the lande of Canaan wyth all her costes.

And the Lorde saide vnto Moses: departe and go hence: both thou & the people whych thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, vnto the lande which I swore vnto Abraham, Isaac and Iacob sayinge: vnto thy seed I wyl geue it.

and sayd vnto me: beholde, I wyl make the growe and wyl multiplye the, and wyll make a great nombre of people of the, and wyl geue this lande vnto the & vnto thy seed after the vnto an euerlastyng possession.

yea, & the Lord stod vpon it, and sayed. I am the Lorde God of Abraham thy father, & the God of Isaac. The land whiche thou sleapest vpon wyl I gyue the & thy sede.

and giue the the blessing of Abraham: both to the, and to thy sede with the, that thou mayst possesse the Lande (wherein thou arte a straunger) whych God gaue vnto Abraham

The Lorde God of heauen whyche toke me from my fathers house and from the lande where I was borne, & whych spake vnto me and sware vnto me sayinge: vnto thy seed wyl I geue thys lande, he shal sende hys angell before the that thou mayste take a wyfe vnto my sonne from thence.

Thy people hath had but litle of thy Sanctuarye in possession, for oure enemies haue taken it in.

And the Lorde sayed vnto him. This is the laud which I sware vnto Abraham, Isaac, and Iacob sayinge: I wyll giue it to thy sede. I haue shewed it the before thyne eyes: but thou shalt not goo ouer thyther.

seynge that Abraham shal be a great & a myghtie people, & all the nacions of the erth shalbe blessed in him?

Aryse, and walke about all the Lande, in the length of it, and in the bredth, for I wil giue it vnto them.

And he sayd vnto hym: I am the Lord that brought the oute of Or in Chaldea to geue the thys lande to possesse it.

And thy sede shal be as the dust of the earth: and thou shalt spreade abrode: weste, easte, north, and south. And thorowe the and thy sede shal al the kynreds of the earth be blessed.

And Ioseph sayd vnto his brethren: I dye: And God wyl suerlye vyset you & brynge you out of thys lande, vnto the lande whych he sware vnto Abraham, Isaac and Iacob.

Remember Abraham, Isaac and Israel thy seruauntes, to whom thou sworest by thyne owne selfe & saidest vnto them. I wyll multiplye youre seed as the starres of heauen, and all thys lande which I haue sayd, I wyll geue vnto youre seede: and they shal enheret it for euer

It is not for thy ryghtuousnes sake & right hert that thou goest to possesse their land: But partely for the wickednesse of these nations, the Lorde thy God doeth caste them before the, and partelye to perfourme that whyche the Lorde thy God sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Iacob.

saying: to the I wyl geue the lande of Canaan, to be the porcyon of youre enheritaunce.
