For the earth bryngeth forth frute of her selfe: fyrst the blade, then the eares, after that full corne in the eares.

For euery tre is knowen by his fruite. Neyther of thornes gather men fygges, nor of bushes gather they grapes.

Be not deceyued, God is not mocked. For what soeuer a man soweth, that shal he reape.

He that fyndeth the sower seed, shall minister breade for fode, and shall multyplye your seede and increace the frutes of youre ryghtuousnes that on all partyes,

For lyke as the ground bringeth forth frute, & as the garden shuteth forth sede. So shall the Lorde God cause ryghteousnesses, and the feare of God to floryshe forthe before all the Heathen.

For that earthe whiche drincketh in the rayne whiche commeth ofte vpon it, and bryngeth forth herbes mete for them that dresse it, receyueth blessynge of God.

And God sayde: let the erth brynge forth herbe and grasse that sowe seed, and fruteful trees, that bere frute euery one in his kynde, hauyng their seed in them selues vpon the erth. And it came so to passe.

and then of the euenyng and mornyng was made the thyrde daye.

Thou bringest forth grasse for the cattell, and grene herbes for the seruice of men. Thou bringest fode out of the earth:
