Pertained it not vnto the onelie, and after it was solde, was not the price in thine owne power? Howe is that, thou hast conceiued this thinge in thyne herte? Thou hast not lied vnto men, but vnto God.

For lo, there is not a worde in my tonge, but thou, O Lorde knowest it altogether.

Beholde, he trauyleth wyth mischefe, he hath conceaued vnhappinesse, and broughte forth a lye.

I wote my God, that thou prouest the herte, and hast pleasure in playnesse. And in playnesse of myne herte I haue wyllynglye geuen all thys. And now I se thy people whiche are here in gladnesse, to offer wyllyngly to the.

And the people reioysed that they were so wyllynge: for wyth a pure herte they were wyllynge vnto the Lorde. And therto Dauid the kynge reioysed with great gladnesse.

Then when luste hath conceyued, she bringeth forth sinne, & sinne when it is fynyshed bryngeth forthe death.

Neuer thelesse, wythout thy mynde, woulde I do nothynge, that the good whiche spryngeth of the shoulde not be as it were of necessytie, but wyllynglye.

Meate maketh vs not acceptable to God. Neither yf we eate are we the better. Neither, yf we eate not, are we the worsse.

He conceyueth trauayle, he beareth myschefe, and hys bodye bryngeth forth disceate.

For which cause both thou and all thy companye are gathered togither agaynst the Lord: for what is Aaron, that ye shoul murmure agaynst him.

If thou promise any thynge, paye it: for better it is that thou make no vowe then that thou shouldest promyse, and not paye.
