The Lord thy God wyl sterre vp a Prophete amonge you: euen of thy brethren lyke vnto me: & vnto him ye shal herken

& wyl multiply thy sede as the stars of heauen, & will gyue vnto thy sede al these contries. And thorow thi sede shal all the nacions of the earth be blessed,

And in thy seed shal al the nacions of the erth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed my voyce.

And I wyl blesse them that blesse the and cursse them that cursse the. And in the shal be blessed al the generations of the earth.

But when the tyme was full come, God sente hys sonne made of a woman, and made bonde vnto the lawe,

Why should it be thought a thinge vncredible vnto you, that God shoulde raise agayne the dead?

excepte it be for thys one voyce that I cryed standynge amonge them, of the resurreccyon from death, am I iudged of you thys daye.

Also all the Prophetes from Samuel and thence forth, as manye as haue spoken, haue in lykewyse tolde of these dayes.

But vnto you that feare my name, shall the Sonne of ryghteousnesse aryse, and healthe shalbe vnder his winges: ye shal go forth, & multipply as the fat calues.

Beholde, I wil sende my messaunger, which shall prepare the way before me: & the Lord whome, ye woulde haue, shall sone come to hys temple, yea, euen the messenger of the couenaunt, whome ye longe for. Beholde he commeth, sayeth the Lord of hostes

In that tyme shall the house of Dauid and the citesins at Ierusalem haue an open well, to wash of synne and vnclennesse.

Reioyce thou greatly, O doughter Syon, be glad, O doughter Ierusalem. For lo, thy king commeth vnto the, euen the ryghteous & Sauioure: Lowly and simple is he, he rydeth vpon an asse, & vpon the foale of an asse.

and speake vnto hym: Thus sayth the Lorde of hostes: Behold the man whose name is the braunche: and he that shall sprynge vp after hym, shall buylde vp the temple of the Lorde,

Thou shalt kepe thy truste wyth Iacob, and thy mercye for Abraham, lyke as thou haste sworne vnto oure fathers longe agoo.

Thus they that escape vpon the hyll of Syon, shall go vp to punysh the mount of Esau and the kyngdome shallbe the Lordes.

And the time shal come, that whosoeuer calleth on the name of the Lorde, shalbe saued. For vpon the mount Syon & at Ierusalem, there shalbe a saluacion, lyke as the Lorde hath promysed, yea & among the other remnaunte, whome the Lorde shall call.

But afterwarde shall the children of Israell conuerte, and seke the Lorde their God: and Dauid their kinge: & in the latter dayes, they shall worshyppe the Lorde, and hys louynge kindnesse.

Dauid my seruaunt shalbe their kinge, & they all shal haue one shepherde onely. They shall walke in my lawes, & my commaundementes shall they both kepe and fulfil.

Punish punyshe, yea punish them will I, and destroy them: and that shall not be fulfilled vntyll he come, to whome the iudgement belongeth, & to whome I haue geuen it.

And therfore the Lorde shall geue you a token of hym selfe: Beholde, a vyrgyn shall conceyue and beare a sonne, and shall call hys name Emmanuel.

After that tyme shall the braunche of the Lorde be bewtyfull & myghtye, & the frute of the earth shall be fayre & pleasaunte for those Israelites that shall bringe thereof.

Ther shall I make the horne of Dauid to floryshe, I haue ordeyned a lanterne for myne anoynted.

The Lord hath made a faythful ooth vnto Dauyd, and he shall not shrynke from it Of the frute of thy body shal I set vpon thy seate.

The lord hath declared his sauyng health & hys righteousnes hathe he openly shewed in the sight of the Heathen.

The sceptre shal not departe from Iuda, nor a ruelar from betwene hys legges, vntyll Sylo come, vnto whome the people shal hark

Moreouer, I wyll put hatred betwene the & the woman, & betwene thy seed and her seed. And that seed shall tread the on thy heed, and thou shalt treade it on the hele.
