And he went throughe al Ciria and Cilicia, stablyshynge the congregacions, commaundyng to kepe the preceptes of the Apostles and elders.

and gaue them letters in theyr handes after thys maner. The Apostles, elders, and brethren sende gretynges vnto the brethren whiche are of the gentyls in Antioche, Syria, and Celicia.

Then departed Barnabas to Tharsus for to seke Saul.

But when the brethren knew of that, they brought him to Cesaria, and sent him forth to Tharsus.

And they came out to se what was done: and came to Iesus, and founde the man out of whom the deuyls were departed syttynge at the fete of Iesus, clothed and in his ryghte mynde, and they were afrayed.

And it fortuned after thre dayes that they founde him in the tempell, syttynge in the middes of the doctours, both hearynge them and posynge them.

And Saul yet breathynge out threatening & slaughter against the Disciples of the Lorde, went vnto the hye priest,

I also verely thought in my selfe, that I ought to do manie contrarye thinges, clene agaynste the name of Nazareth,
