They were all amased, and woundered saiynge one to another: what meaneth thys?

whyche also sayde: ye men of Galile, why stande ye gasynge vp into heauen? This same Iesus which is taken from you into heauen, shal so come, euen as ye haue sene hym go into heauen.

They aunswered and sayed vnto hym: art thou also of Galile? Searche and loke, for oute of Galile aryseth no Prophete.

And they knewe hym that it was he whyche sate and begged at the beutyfull gate of the temple. And they wondred & were sore astonied at that, which had happened vnto hym.

And by and by he arose, toke vp the bedde, & wente forthe before them all: in so muche that they were all amased, and glorifyed God sayinge: we neuer saw it on thys fasshyon.

And they were al amased, in so muche that they demaunded one of another, amonge them selues saying: what thyng is thys? what newe doctryne is this? For he commaundeth the foule spirites with power, and they obeye hym.

And after a whyle came vnto hym they that stode by & sayde vnto Peter: surely thou art euen one of them, for thy speache bewrayeth the.

And the people sayd: this is Iesus the prophet of Nazareth a citie of Galile.

When Iesus hearde that, he maruailed & sayed to them that folowed him. Verely I say vnto you, I haue not founde so great faith: no, not in Israel.

And how heare we euery man his own tounge wherin we were borne?
